Adult Care Specialist Position Reports To: Manager, Work/Life Programs Position Supervises: None Overview of Position: Harris, Rothenberg International provides work and family benefits to corporations nationwide. Our organization is seeking individuals to work as part of a team, helping caregivers and older adults to navigate aging networks and locate community resources Adult Care Specialist Responsibilities Include: Providing Adult care consultation and referral services. Responding to requests for Adult care information and referrals. Writing articles about Adult care topics. Creating content for HRI’s web site. Conducting follow-up contacts with caregivers and resources. Managing a national, computerized Adult care database. Researching Adult care providers, programs and agencies. Uncovering and developing new resources. Qualifications include: 4 year degree (MSW a plus). Knowledge of aging issues and Adult care service delivery system. 2-3 years direct work experience with the older adult population. Excellent telephone, researching, organization, and communication skills. Geriatric Care Management and/or hospital discharge planning experience a plus. Computer experience necessary.
