Work Life Referral Specialist

Manager, Work/Life Programs

Overview of Position:

Balancing work, life, and family responsibilities is no easy task. Employees must constantly juggle competing demands, from meeting deadlines to running errands to finding quality child care to caring for aging relatives.

HRI’s Work/Life Program provides extensive assistance, information, and support to employees, helping them achieve a better balance between work, life, and family responsibilities.

Our organization is seeking a Work Life Referral Specialist to work as part of a team, assisting families and caregivers to locate resources and referrals specific to their personal and/or family needs.

Work Life Referral Specialist Responsibilities Include:
  • Responding to client requests for community resource information and referrals through phone consultation.
  • Researching and verifying national wide programs and agencies.
  • Conducting follow-up contact with clients and community resources.
  • Ensuring accurate and complete data entry and case management.
  • Providing expert consultation in areas related to dependant care and convenience services.
  • Uncovering and developing new resources nationally.

Qualifications include:
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Motivation to exceed clients needs and expectations.
  • Creativity, confidence, a positive, enthusiastic and cooperative approach to both the clients and team members.
  • Task oriented, a self starter, and resourceful with a pleasant phone personality while able to meet deadlines.
  • Background in geriatrics, child care, counseling, concierge, or social work is helpful.
  • Strong internet skills are a must.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
